At Space Coast MMA, our Muay Thai Striking with MMA Concepts class blends traditional Muay Thai technique with modern mixed martial arts strategy. You'll learn how to strike effectively on the feet, manage distance, work in the clinch, and transition between striking and grappling.

Common Questions

MUAY THAI FAQ

Do I need striking experience?

Not at all. Our classes are beginner-friendly and structured so you can learn at your own pace. Coaches will guide you through every technique.

Will I get hit?

Controlled sparring is optional and only available once you're comfortable. The majority of class focuses on technique, pad work, and partner drills.

What equipment do I need?

For your first class, just bring athletic clothing and a water bottle. As you progress, you'll want hand wraps, gloves, and shin guards — we can help you choose the right gear.

What does "MMA Concepts" mean?

It means we integrate grappling awareness, takedown defense, and cage strategy into our striking curriculum — so your skills work in a real fight, not just on pads.
